Pauline Storino

Pauline Storino was born and raised in Seattle.  She attended St. Bernadette Parish School in Burien for eight years and is still a member of that parish.  She attended John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, and then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree with an endorsement in reading from Central Washington University.  While attending CWU, Ms. Storino volunteered in numerous classrooms from preschool through second grade gaining experience in primary education.  After graduation, Ms. Storino substituted in both the Highline and Seattle School Districts while applying for teaching jobs across Washington state.  During that time, she completed a year of graduate school at Seattle Pacific University.  In the fall of 1984, an opening at St. Alphonsus Parish School in Ballard came to her attention, and she found her home in Catholic education.  She started teaching third grade and remained at St. Alphonsus for 14 years.  During that time, Ms. Storino was awarded the Elizabeth Anne Seton Award for excellence in teaching.  In the spring of 1998, she started teaching fourth grade at St. Mark.  The last seven years Ms. Storino taught sixth grade.  She is currently back teaching fourth grade and seventh grade math.  She is dedicated to Catholic education and knows God placed that first job in her hands in 1984 for a reason.
