Jog-A-Thon Fundraiser - Thursday, October 10th

Our annual Jog‐A‐Thon, is a fun and fit activity for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, with all students reaching their personal best distance to help raise funds for St. Mark Parish School. Students set realistic lap goals based on age and development. Each lap is 1/3 mile. Teachers, family members, and friends are welcome to walk/jog as many laps as possible!

Curriculum Night 2019 was a huge success!

Thursday, September 12 was School Parent Success Orientation Night.
Parents arrived at 6:45 pm to the school gym for refreshments and fellowship, hosted by the Parent Club. Principal Kathy Palmquist-Keck's Presentation started with a prayer at 7:00 pm followed by a review of newly added S.T.E.A.M. room equipment, ALMA usage, MAP Test results, announcement of this year's Student Body Leaders, Auction updates, Parent's Club Annual Engagement Events, Scrip purchases and Virtues in Practice focus points. Parents visited their students classrooms, where they were briefed on Teacher Curriculum's. The evening ended by 8:45 pm. A special thanks to our St. Mark Parish School Parent's Club.

Scout's Project Brings New Playground to St. Mark School

"When Connor Hogle was an eighth-grader at St. Mark School, he embarked on a project to improve recess for the school’s students and earn his Eagle Scout rank. He surveyed students about what they would like to see in a new playground, then helped design it, raised money for the new equipment and assisted with its installation in the fall of 2018. He earned his Eagle Scout in early March 2019 and now is his troop’s junior assistant scoutmaster." - Courtesy of Northwest Catholic

Huge Success! McTeachers Night at McDonald's on Ballinger Way

St. Mark Parish School Teachers served their hearts out waiting on customers. An enormous crowd was present to enjoy burger favorites and add money to the tip jar, which totaled $979, the most that has ever been contributed.
This fun event was created to provide an 8th Grade scholarship towards a Catholic High School.

St. Mark Parish School students score big at weekend Math Olympiad!

March News: Once again we brought home the First Place trophy for having the greatest percentage of students competing at the Shoreline Math Olympiad. Over 800 students competed from 17 area schools and two of our teams were recognized. The 5th grade team of Isabelle McAllister, Senay Agostino, Joseph Dornay and Jasper Bugnot placed sixth and the 6th grade team of Nathan Reed, Lulia Mekonnen and Alexander Denkewalter (5th grade) placed fifth. Individual winners included Amber Calderon and Noah Tran from the 8th grade; Alexander Denkewalter, Jasper Bugnot and Joseph Dornay from the 5th grade; Travis Phan, Jacob Quimpo and Nathaneal Lucas from the 4th grade.
