drills are conducted once a quarter.
Students are educated about the seriousness of these drills because of the
likelihood of an earthquake in the greater
Lock Down
drills are conducted periodically as well.
Students are educated about the seriousness of these drills, preparing
for the possibility of an intruder on campus, in which case the students remain
in lock-down until the drill is complete.
Emergency preparation kits
are required for all students and staff members in the event of a possible
emergency (earthquake or heavy snowfall) that might keep students and school
staff members at school for an extended period of time.
These kits should be in all classrooms by the second week of school.
