Students who become ill at school will be cared for temporarily in the office until parents or emergency contacts pick up the students. It is important for each family to have an emergency card with current phone numbers for contact persons.
Children should not return to school after an illness unless he/she is well enough and fever-free for 24 hours, and able to follow the normal routine, including going outdoors at recess time. The school does not have adequate personnel to supervise children staying indoors at recess times. On rare occasions, an exception to this policy may be granted upon approval of the teacher and/or principal.
