Students who become ill at school will be cared for temporarily at the
office until parents or emergency contacts pick up the students.
It is important for each family to have an emergency card with current
phone numbers for contact persons.
Children should not return to school after an illness unless they are
well enough to follow the normal routine,
including going outdoors at recess time.
They must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
The school does not have adequate personnel to supervise children staying
indoors at recess times. On rare
occasions, an exception to this policy may be granted.
