GRADING POLICIES

 

At St. Mark School, students, teachers and parents strive for high academic standards.  While grades are not the only indicators of success, they provide one way of assessing a child’s progress.

Kindergarten Grading System

Grades 1 through 3 Grading System

4                    Strong performance at grade level

3                    Meets grade level expectations

2                    Inconsistent in meeting grade level expectations

1                     Does not meet grade level expectations

Grades 4 through 8 Grading System

A         96-100%         C-        74-75%           4 - Consistently Demonstrated

A-        94-95%           D+        72-73%           3 – Frequently Demonstrated

B+        92-93%           D         66-71%           2 – Sometimes Demonstrated

B          86-91%           D-        64-65%           1 – Seldom Demonstrated

B-        84-85%           U         below 64%      N/A – Not Assessed

C+        82-83%

C          76-81%
