If your child is ill and will be absent from school please call the school office daily at 206-364-1633 by 8:45 AM. A written excuse must accompany the student upon return to school. The note should contain the date(s) absent, cause of absence and signature of parent/guardian.
It is important that all students be to school on time for Morning Prayer and to receive instructions for the day. If a child is tardy, a written excuse must accompany the child for admittance to the classroom. If a student is consistently late, it is the responsibility of the homeroom teacher to note the time of entry, and inform the home. Consequences for consistent tardiness may include a phone call home, missed recess, service time, or a conference with the principal.
