Painless Ways to Help Our School
There are many ways that you can make your dollar count in favor of St. Mark School. Opportunities are changing daily. Here are just a few:
Scrip: Buy Scrip (gift cards) from our Scrip parent coordinator. We make an average of 5% on every gift card and you don’t pay any extra. They are easy to use at the checkout counter and make GREAT gifts. Parent Coordinator: Deborah Harris 206-361-9821.
Box Tops for Education: Cut the box tops off General Mills and Betty Crocker products. Bring them into school and we can turn those box tops into cash. Or get a Box Tops for Education Visa Card which donates 1% of the value of your purchases to your school. Parent Coordinator: Carmela Park 425-806-1733
Campbell’s Soup Labels: Trim your Campbell’s soup labels (and Pepperidge Farms Goldfish labels) and turn them into the school. We redeem those labels for sports equipment and other school supplies.
Tyson Project A+: Trim the panels off of Tyson products and turn them into school. We get 24 cents for every label!
Albertson’s Community Partners Card: Simply register St. Mark in conjunction with your Preferred Savings Card. Every time you save money at Albertsons, you also give to St. Mark School. Albertsons donates 4% of the revenues to the school every quarter. We received $600 last quarter!
Foster Farms Chicken: peel off the code on the top of your package of chicken. Go to www.fosteringeducation.com and enter the code, naming St. Mark School to receive the funds. Or stick the code on a 3x5 card and we’ll enter it for you. A quarterly check is sent to the school.
Target Visa Card: Apply for a Target Visa (no annual fee) and name St. Mark School to receive 1% on all your purchases at Target and ½% on all other purchases. Checks are mailed to the school quarterly.
Verizon Long Distance: If Verizon is your long distance carrier, let them know you want to designate St. Mark School to receive a % of the money you spend calling those friends and family in different time zones. The school receives a quarterly check.
Washington Mutual Visa Check Card: If you have a Wamu Check Card, enroll online at wamoolaforschools.com and name St. Mark School. Use your card for everyday purchases where Visa debit cards are accepted. At the end of the year, your points are converted to dollars and donated directly to our school. Need a card? Open a Washington Mutual checking account and get a Visa Check Card by calling 1-866-WAMOOLA.
Wells Fargo: Open a checking account there and $40 will be donated to our school.
Office Max and Office Depot: are both running promotions during the month of September. They will donate a % of the money you spend there to our school. Need a new computer? Office equipment? Let them know you want St. Mark School to benefit from your purchases.
