Frequently Asked Questions

What does the auction support?

Short answer - the Parish school's children.  The auction provides necessary additional revenue to the operating budget of St. Mark.  This school is able to provide a variety of programs and curriculum, plus provide assistance in the form of tuition assistance through prudent management of the budget.  This budget requires supplementing from large fundraisers such as the annual fund and the auction.

Who is in charge?

God.  oh, you meant the auction?  Ken and Maggie Hemmen are the chairs of the auction this year.

What are the goals?

Increase attendance to 200+ people, with special emphasis on alumni.

Increase revenue to $80,000

Decrease overall costs and obtain other revenue to cover 95% of costs.

Raise at least $15,000 for a specific fund an item.

What can I do to help?

Attend (come to the event and bring your friends), assist by procuring items and volunteering, sustain through donations, and be a good steward by promoting the auction and supporting St. Mark
