ADDRESS AND PHONE CHANGES:  Mr. and Mrs. Diaz’s new number:  206-801-7017.  Mercy Thomson’s new address is:  19428 76th Ct NE, Kenmore, WA  98028 (they have the same phone number).

SWEATSHIRTS:  We are ordering sweatshirts for the fall weather.  Remember sweatshirts cannot be worn to Mass.  Sweatshirts can be worn over vests.  You must wear a white shirt under the sweatshirt.  Two years ago we added the dark green sweatshirts as part of the middle school uniform.   Dark green sweatshirts may be worn by sixth through eighth graders only!

Orders are due back to school by:  Monday, October 22, 2007.  You can order for Christmas too at this time and hide those sweatshirts for gifts.

SCHOOL HANDBOOK:  Enclosed is the new School Handbook.  Please read it as a family so you know the policies.  On Mass days there has been an addition to the dress uniform.  Girls may wear pants to church on those days when the weather is inclement.  I would ask you to make your best judgment on those days.

TUESDAY MASS:   Thank you for being on time for Mass on Tuesday morning

It is wonderful to see everyone so bright and early.

PRAYER SERVICES:  We have started our prayer services.  The second graders lead us in prayer in September and the first graders will lead us in prayer in November.

SERVICE:  Our theme this year is Journey to Justice.  We are working on being good stewards of the earth.  We have already increased the size of the recycle bin on campus.  You can reinforce these efforts at home with recycling.  Every class is working on service projects in class.  Ask your student what they are doing in class.
